11 Wrestlers Who Masqueraded As Rosebuds

4. Alexa Bliss

When the lists are compiled for 'Most Improved Wrestler of 2016', Alexa Bliss is one name that deserves to be in the upper reaches. Over the last 12 months Bliss has gone from the best part of a faction with Blake & Murphy to arguably the most consistent female performer on SmackDown Live. Her facial expressions are on point, and she is quickly becoming as dependable as they come inside the ropes.

Which makes it all the more impressive that she started life as a humble Rosebud back in March 2014. Once again we go to Rose's pre-debut party, and Alexa Bliss is found not in the groups of revelers cavorting around the the room, but sat next to Adam Rose himself.

From the very beginning, Alexa was destined for big things. Once she was done with Rose she moved on to Blake & Murphy, and now that she is done with those fools the world will be hers. Or something like that.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
