11 Wrestling Legends Who Became WWE NXT Trainers

2. Johnny Saint

NXT Trainers
WWE

The name Johnny Saint may not mean much to American ears, but it does to Brits - at least those who watched ITV's World of Sport in the '60s and '70s, anyway.

A Manchester-native with some five decades of wrestling experience under his belt, Saint began working at the WWE Performance Centre last year following a successful guest spot - although, at 76, it's unlikely he'll be taking on a full-time role.

For aspiring wrestlers out there, though, it just goes to prove that it's never too late for you to land your first gig with WWE - who, despite a reputation for insularity, are always prepared to take a punt on an outsider provided they know their stuff.

And Saint - a man for whom, it seems, the word "veteran" was invented - obviously does.
