Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Samoa Joe... these are just some of the wrestlers who received at least a little bit of training from William Regal, who began his career behind the camera long before he officially hung up his own boots three years ago.

Remarkably, Regal has combined his NXT training role with an on-screen one as the brand's sage authority figure, whilst also being a regular on press junkets earlier in the year as he helped promote the UK Championship Tournament.

Having been associated with the company for nearly 20 years, the Brit must surely go down as one of its most trusted and respected employees - and he is already virtually assured of a place in the WWE Hall of Fame a few years down the line.
