11 WWE Divas Matches That Should Have Happened

7. Luna Vachon Vs. "Sensational" Sherri Martel

Sherri Martel Vs. Luna Vachon In 1993, after the partnership between "Sensational" Sherri Martel and her "boy toy" Shawn Michaels ended, HBK replaced his manager with a Diva that was equally volatile and maniacal ... the dastardly Luna Vachon. Naturally, the two women came into direct conflict at that year's WrestleMania, as Luna viciously attacked Sherri at ringside and backstage in the first-aid area. They went on to have an epic brawl on RAW is WAR that proved that the women could be just as violent and hard-hitting as the men. Eventually, a match between the two was scheduled but never really began as Luna's main squeeze, Bam Bam Bigelow, decided to confront Sherri in the ring and get in her face, allowing Luna to attack her from behind. This, however, was nothing more than a strategic method to get the crowd riled up for the true showdown between the legendary Divas which would see Bam Bam and Luna team up to take on Sherri and her ally, Tatanka, in Mixed Tag Team action. Unfortunately, this match would never come to fruition as Sherri failed a drug test and was subsequently released from the WWF in the summer of '03. With both women having passed on at very young ages, we'll never get to see these two gifted wrestlers in the same ring ever again, much less the match that could have been.
