11 WWE Divas Matches That Should Have Happened

6. Ivory Vs. Jazz For The WWE Women's Championship

Jazz Vs. Ivory In the middle of 2003, Jazz was trucking along in the WWE Women's Division as the reigning champion at the peak of what has been labeled the Divas' "Golden Era" when, suddenly, we were given a reprieve from Trish Stratus and Victoria being Jazz's main rivals ... and we started seeing a bit more of the Divas' resident loudmouth ... Ivory! With three straight clean pinfall victories over the dominating Jazz, Ivory looked slated to add a fourth Women's Title to her list of accolades. It looked as if the stank from being obliterated by Chyna at WrestleMania X7 was finally removed from the renewed and refreshed Ivory, who was gaining great support from the WWE Universe during this face run after spending the majority of her WWE career playing an excellent and memorable heel. On June 30th, 2003, Jazz defended her title in a Seven-Diva Battle Royal. Surely this could have been a tremendous way to get the belt onto Ivory without making Jazz look completely weak, right? Incorrect. Jazz wound up injured and taking time off of TV and dropped the belt to the debuting Gail Kim of all people. As for Ivory, her magnificent push came to an abrupt halt for no reason as she didn't receive a televised entrance and was the first Diva eliminated from the match. Ivory went on to spend two more years with the company ... so why didn't a Single's Match between her and Jazz for the title happen, especially if Jazz needed to be written out due to injury? By all accounts, Gail's title reign was far from memorable so placing the championship on someone like Ivory who could wrestle, talk, and had been well-established with the audience would've way more successful than what we had received.
