11 WWE Heels That Were So Good They Became Babyfaces

4. Daniel Bryan

John Cena has been the untouchable focal point of the WWE for a decade now. In that time, two guys have come in who rivalled, and possibly (momentarily) topped, Cena€™s popularity: CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. By the time Bryan finally found his groove on the main roster, it was as an erratic heel who loved to scream €œNo€. The thing was, fans would chant along with D-Bry, although he€™d still manage to come off as a heel due to his actions and overall demeanour. Following his 18-second loss to Sheamus at WrestleMania XXVIII, it was really Bryan€™s feud with CM Punk that saw the former American Dragon€™s popularity get to a point where it couldn€™t not be acknowledged. Even then though, Bryan would end up teaming with Kane as part of Team Hell No, which became massively popular (yet he was still acting and behaving like a heel). Despite reservations from company higher-ups, Bryan was finally pushed to the top of the card and would eventually overcome Triple H, Batista and Randy Orton to leave WrestleMania XXX as the WWE Champion, cementing himself as the biggest babyface in the company.
