Another excellent and hard-hitting Money In The Bank match provided another feverish finish, though there was something about the surprise appearance of Brock Lesnar at the very end of a bruising war that seemed particularly fitting as a finale.

'The Beast' had supposedly been slayed by Seth Rollins last month, but his jaw-dropping return as Sami Zayn's last minute replacement was a sickeningly good character moment for the big pink sh*thouse.

Only amongst the pile of broken bodies did Lesnar look like he belonged in possession of the briefcase, but that perhaps wasn't supposed to include the cameramen too - Brock sent one of the ladders flying into some cameramen in a moment of chaos that presumably popped Vince McMahon as much as it did everybody watching at home.

It's this sort of bullsh*t which will keep The Chairman coming back to his old chestnut, and what a superb sense of looming fear he now presents as Mr Money In The Bank.

It speaks to Lesnar's star aura that his late show has taken most of the attention from an enjoyable main event, but there'll be times for years in the future to commiserate the death of Finn Bálor's back - only in the immediate aftermath of the moment can the sheer audacity of the Lesnar swerve be celebrated.
