11 WWE Wrestlers Who Were Footballers

Unintelligible WCW commentator and greatest ever Horseman Steve McMichael is one of the most successful American footballers to ever make the transition to the squared-circle. 'Mongo' (don't ask) was part of the Chicago Bears' SuperBowl XX winning team of 1985, a fact he frequently reminded viewers of on Nitro. He retired nine years later, before making his first wrestling appearance alongside LT at WrestleMania XI (he didn't strictly wrestle, but who's counting). WCW liked what they saw, for some reason.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
