12 Actors Who Could Totally Play WWE Superstars In Movies

6. Live Schreiber As Jake Roberts

Hugh Jackman/The Undertaker
Showtime/WWE

Aside from being dead ringers in the face department, Schreiber has proven time and time again that he has the chops to get into the headspace of a depressed, drug-addled, sex-aholic. Even with his impressive filmography, Liev Schreiber is one of the most under-appreciated actors in the business...not totally unlike Jake Roberts was in his days with the WWE.

There's a lot of meat to Jake The Snake's personal background, as was heart-wrenchingly detailed in the documentary Beyond the Mat. At his lowest, his story is reminiscent of that of Mickey Rourke's character in The Wrestler (which is said to be based, at least partially, on Roberts), but there's even more to be delved into.

It would be fitting for a movie about Roberts to be an indie release, considering that's still where Schreiber's best work can be found, and also because this particular WWE Superstar was rarely used as the biggest draw. He wasn't the principal guy, he was the key supporting player. And that's Schreiber.
