12 Best WWE Insults Of 2016

5. "Two Years Ago, Your Legacy Died"

Maybe the feud between The Undertaker and Shane McMahon wasn't so bad after all? Actually no, it was awful, but the two did have a couple of surprisingly entertaining back and forths. Vince McMahon brought The Undertaker's legacy into the whole thing, which led to the Deadman talking about how no one but him can speak of his legacy.

Shane's response was what a whole load of fans were thinking, as The Undertaker has become something of a non-entity since losing to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. Sure, he got a little close to the bone with his choice of words, but Shane pricked the Deadman by telling him that "two years ago, your legacy died".

If we forget the fact that Undertaker was involved in a back and forth war of words, this was quite the barbarous jibe from Shane. Undertaker's 'streak' was undoubtedly his legacy, and when he failed to kick out of the third F5 many opinions changed in an instant. A legitimate legend of course, but Shane's words rammed home just how expendable each and every professional wrestler truly is.
