The original and still one of the very best, 30 years hasn't remotely aged the inaugural Survivor Series card.

Innovating the elimination tag match format that exists to this day, the endless stream of stars paired with and against one another are a sight to behold as WWE continued it's dominant assault on the remaining United States territories.

As with the following year's event, the undisputed highlight was the 20-man match collecting five babyface and heel teams against one another lead by Strike Force and The Hart Foundation respectively.

The remainder of the card offered a rich array of diverse talent too, including a women's elimination match to showcase fabulous Japanese arrivals The Jumping Bomb angels, and a team made up of Intercontinental Champion Randy Savage and former rivals Ricky Steamboat and Jake Roberts as babyfaces in opposition to a Honky Tonk Man squad following his shocking assault of Savage and Elizabeth that indirectly lead to the union of Savage and Hulk Hogan.

Speaking of 'The Hulkster', he went face to face with Andre the Giant for the first time since their historic WrestleMania 3 clash earlier in the year, as the Giant outlasted Hogan and his babyface allies as the sole survivor of the evening's main event.
