SoCal Uncensored’s Kazarian and Scorpio Sky became World Tag champs in October after defeating The Briscoe Brothers and The Young Bucks. Subsequently, the Bucks and Briscoes met to determine a number one contender for Final Battle but the match ended in an inconclusive brawl between the two teams. As such, SCU issued a challenge to both teams for a Ladder War at Final Battle.

As expected, the match was full of fast-paced action and insane moments. At one point, Mark Briscoe spun wildly with a ladder draped around his neck. Just minutes in, both Kazarian and Jay Briscoe were spouting blood. Matt Jackson was back body dropped through a table by Jay, while moments later, Mark was driven through another by SCU. Later, The Young Bucks went for their patented Meltzer Driver, but were cut off as Mark hit a cutter on Nick and Jay planted Matt with a piledriver.

At one point, Nick looked poised to grab the belts but his ladder was pushed over by Jay sending him crashing through a table on the floor in an ugly fall. Kazarian then tried to grab the titles but was met with a steel chair to the head from Mark, allowing the Briscoes to snatch the belts and become ten-time ROH World Tag Team Champions.
