The National Wrestling Alliance's President, Billy Corgan was interviewed on Tuesday’s edition of Busted Open Radio - broadcast on Sirius XM and co-hosted by Dave LaGreca and Bully Ray - sharing his thoughts on the success of the Crockett Cup, as well as where the NWA is headed from here.

Unsurprisingly, Corgan took time to praise his company’s Worlds Champion, touting Aldis' ability to elevate the title, as well as represent the company itself. He then briefly mentioned his admiration for new tag team champion, PCO - stating he’s been impressed with the fifty-one year-old’s ability to garner excitement amidst a crop of much younger stars in Ring of Honor.

As for the NWA’s ongoing deal with ROH, Corgan contradicted Nick Aldis, stating he “can’t say enough good things about that relationship” and is looking to expand it going forward. He further expressed the NWA's desire to produce episodic television this fall - with hopes of airing the program on the Honor Club streaming service or YouTube. Corgan added that another marquee pay-per-view will happen around the same time and the ultimate goal is to “run four to six signature events a year”.

Let us know your thoughts on the Crockett Cup, the NWA's future, and what will come of the ROH partnership in the comments below.
