WWE's production team are first class and should be the envy of the entertainment industry. But that doesn't mean that money isn't being wasted. The company is losing money, so savings need to be made - and producing a WWE TV show is not cheap! Rough estimates for the cost of producing Raw put it at $820,000 per a show. Now bear in mind that WWE makes that back in TV rights and ticket sales, but it is still an extraordinary cost for the show. Twelve production trucks and fourteen crew buses are used for every taping. There's so much going on with technical aspects and setups. But consider if WWE could cut some of those costs? Sometimes, they are guilty of producing something for the sake of it. Worst still, sometimes expensive segments just end up looking silly. Sometimes simplicity would look better. Scaling back the production investment somewhat could help the company.
