4. D-Von Dudley

WWE fans had only known The Dudleyz as a unit throughout their run in the company. They were always together, putting people through tables and winning titles. It was a fun act, but it began to run its course. They were drafted to different shows, and it appears to have hit D-Von much harder than Bubba.

D-Von must have been so depressed after his friend left him that he turned to religion. He didn’t just start going to church more, he suddenly became a reverend! He started as Vince McMahon’s spiritual advisor, then realized that was a lost cause and got back in the ring to beat some religion into people. It was far too dangerous for him to go it alone, so he had Deacon Batista watch his back, and collect money from the crowd.

When the Dudleyz reunited the following year, D-Von dropped the act immediately. Perhaps he didn’t need God all that time, he just needed his brother.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
