12 Current WWE Stars Who Will Win A World Title Within 5 Years
2. Shinsuke Nakamura
Unlike a lot of outside talents, Shinsuke Nakamura entered the WWE fold as a fully-formed thing, and all he's really had to do is learn where the hard cameras are so he knows where to look when he makes contored "I'm about to knee your head so hard all the parts come off like a Mr. Potato Head" faces. Nakamura is a singular pro wrestling entity.
Even AJ Styles - the poster boy for coming into WWE as a ready-made headliner - had to faff about in a Chris Jericho tag team breakup story for several months before building SmackDown into a house or whatever. It's been five weeks for Nakamura, and he's already in the Money in the Bank match. He won't win, though, because he doesn't need it.
Nakamura's already filling John Cena's sneakers by going on last on the house how circuit and in television dark matches. He's also in his late 30s, and if WWE wants him to win their top prize (and they do) they'll pull the trigger soon. It's only a matter of time before he's clashing with AJ Styles, Randy Orton and John Cena over the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, possibly after Hulk Hoganing all over Jinder Mahal's possibly Iron Sheikish title reign.
Time Until Championship: A year or less.
