12 Current WWE Stars Who Will Win A World Title Within 5 Years
1. Braun Strowman
At this point, Braun Strowman feels more like an inevitability than a normal pro wrestler.
It's an extremely difficult feeling to cultivate; despite WWE's best efforts, for example, they never managed to create this kind of buzz around Roman Reigns. Even when Roman Reigns isn't in the title picture, his main event push is always looming, like the thought of clocking into work intruding on a relaxing Sunday morning.
On the other hand Strowman's rise has been gradual and, more crucially, organic. He was always portrayed as a monstrous force, sure, but the history of pro wrestling is positively littered with undefeated beasts who couldn't cut it long term. Even the Funkasaurus had a months-long winning streak.
WWE has managed to keep Strowman fresh and evolving, from his beginnings in the Wyatt Family to his jobber-killing phase to his fantastic feud with Sami Zayn, and his repeated destruction of Roman Reigns has basically made him the biggest babyface in the company. He seems poised to pick up right where he left off upon his return from injury, and he left off knocking on the door of the Universal Championship picture. And then he's going to stop knocking and start kicking it down.
