Joe Rogan has come a long way since the days of hosting Fear Factor. The former UFC commentator, over the last decade, has slowly climbed the ladder and become the unquestioned king of the podcast world.

The Joe Rogan Experience started way back in 2009, growing more and more popular with every episode, of which it now boasts almost 1500. This ridiculous number goes to show just how popular the podcast has become, reaching people of all walks of life.

Through the likes of Louis Theroux, Kevin Hart, and Robert Downey Jr, Rogan has had the opportunity to talk at length with a plethora of incredible guests from different fields, discussing just about anything and everything.

As the list of guests grows and grows, we are left with no choice but to get excited for what Rogan has in store for us in the future. Based on the past, the host can carry a good two to three hour conversation with almost anyone, and it seems now that nobody is out of the realms of possibility to appear on the show.

12. Stephen A. Smith

There have been no shortage of outspoken, opinionated guests on the Joe Rogan Experience, and Stephen A. Smith would be a welcome addition to the list. The US sports pundit is constantly vocal with his often unpopular opinions, and is certainly one of the more polarising figures in the industry.

The two would surely have made great conversation thanks solely on their big characters and personalities, but an appearance from Smith would be made all the more interesting since the two had something of a spat after Conor McGregor's return to the UFC in January 2020.

Smith, who was brought in to the commentary team after ESPN and the UFC came to a long term deal, called 'Cowboy' Cerrone a disgrace and a quitter after losing to McGregor in just 40 seconds. Rogan disagreed, accusing Smith of sh*t talking, and not knowing anything about the world of MMA.

Getting these two in a room to hash things out and talk even further about MMA, something Rogan is incredibly passionate about, would make for one the most entertaining, and potentially explosive episodes ever.
