12 Fears That Could Ruin WrestleMania 31

Will the show of shows sink or swim?

Leading into WrestleMania XXXI, there's a palpable trepidation amongst long-time fans that has threatened the event for months. If the awful television product to which the company devotes several hours a week wasn't enough, WWE has managed to cobble together the least-anticipated WrestleMania card in recent memory - maybe ever. Some fans prefer big dream matches to athletic in-ring action, and for others it's quite the opposite, but both groups stand to be disappointed by WrestleMania XXXI. To be fair, there have been WWE cards in the past that have over-delivered - as they say, anything can happen in the company. Perhaps fans all over the world will have their fears allayed as The Undertaker returns with a compelling victory, Sting and Triple H have a WCW versus WWE brawl that captures the crowd, and Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar battle with everything they've got to leave with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Indeed, wrestling fans have all got their fingers crossed that the hugest show of the entire year will deliver in every way. But how likely is it? Here are the 12 most pressing concerns fans have when it comes to WrestleMania XXXI. Whether all or none are realized, the WWE Universe has good reason to believe that any of them can happen, and that the night will end up a flop. And indeed, if fan interest is that low, it's WWE who should be truly afraid.
