For years, fans have wondered what it would be like if Sting came to WWE and took on Triple H. Wait, what? They've wanted to see him take on The Undertaker? Then why the hell is this match happening in the first place? In all seriousness, HHH-Sting may not be the dream match WWE is telling us that it is, but the company has done a reasonably good job of building it up. There have been bumps in the road since it began at Survivor Series, but Sting has remained a thorn in The Authority's side. Additionally, he's been presented as a huge star and a genuine threat to Triple H. Sting recently celebrated a birthday, as well. Last week, he turned 56. Triple H, compared to the Stinger, is downright youthful, but he'll be 46 years old in July. Sure, Sting can still beat his chest and HHH can still hit the Pedigree, but fans expecting a classic encounter will be disappointed. More than likely, the bulk of the match will consist of Triple H beating... and beating... and beating on the WCW legend. It's conceivable that the live crowd could turn on such a plodding display. To paraphrase wrestling announcers everywhere, the longer the match goes, the less it favors the audience.
