12 Fears That Could Ruin WrestleMania 31

2. Fans Will Boo The Main Event

Since the Royal Rumble, the WWE Universe has - more in some towns than in others - rejected Roman Reigns as their new hero. Initially, the backlash was born out of pro-Daniel Bryan sentiment, but Bryan has been sufficiently buried, and Reigns is still not connecting like a main event babyface (especially one poised to lead the company) should. To make matters worse, the crowd for WrestleMania will be comprised of the hardest of the hardcore fans from around the world - not typically a very forgiving bunch. Even though Reigns has gotten his share of cheers amongst the boos, his reaction in Santa Clara will, in all likelihood, be akin to his reception in Philadelphia. In fact, WWE's only hope for a main event that isn't completely buried is if the fans get behind Brock Lesnar. Given that Lesnar may be leaving the company after WrestleMania, WWE may be looking at a repeat of his bout with Goldberg at WrestleMania XX.
