12 February WWE PPV Matches That Totally Sucked

6. The Quebecers Vs. The Godwinns (No Way Out Of Texas)

There seems to be a pattern with Attitude Era February pay-per-views that dictates heel vs. heel matches are more acceptable at those shows than at any other time in the year. Unfortunately, that makes for painfully lethargic, lackluster matches that have zero heat and elicit moans and groans rather than excitement and cheers. More on some of those in just a bit but the first on our list is the 1998 showdown between The Godwinns and The Quebecers, and showdown that on paper sounds like a cluster-eff of boredom. Add to that the fact that the Godwinns had overstayed their welcome, no longer relevant as WWE turned into the attitudinal program that it would, coupled with The Quebecers not having been over since the mid-90s and you had a recipe for a popcorn break. The Godwinns won the match, killing any of the momentum Jacques Rougeau and Pierre Lafitte may have had since returning to WWE, and fans moved onto the next match in hopes of forgetting the extended Superstars-quality match they had just witnessed ever happened.
