Again, lets be a little flexible with "horror" and go into the sci-fi/fantasy realm a little this time. Remember The Highlander? There can only be one? Of course you do. Highlander has become something of a cult favourite over the years. The Kurgan was the villain of the first film, an immortal warrior decked out in skull armor who challenged and nearly killed Connor MacLeod. In wrestling, however, he was Robert Maillet, a mountain of a man who played the character in one of the more blatant WWE rip-offs. First billed as The Interrogator, then Kurrgan the Interrogator and later just Kurrgan, he would wrestle with the Truth Commission and Oddities stables between 1997 to 99. Despite his imposing frame, he never really caught on, and would head into an acting career, starring in films like 300 (where, coincidentally, he played an immortal) and Sherlock Holmes, where he famously punched Robert Downey Jr. in the face by accident during a take, bloodying him and knocking him down. During his wrestling run, however, he was an obvious knock-off.
