12 Greatest Flying Elbows In Wrestling History

9. CM Punk's Tribute Elbow

When "Macho Man" Randy Savage died, no one in WWE made as much of it as CM Punk. Not only did Punk wear Savage's WrestleMania III colors on the episode of Raw that followed his death, but he also added a top-rope flying elbow to his moveset.

Punk's elbow borrowed Savage's two-handed point to the sky, but not much else. Punk didn't mimic Savage's unique body positioning, opting instead for his own signature movement. On the way down, Punk would rotate his arm, as if positioning it for maximum damage.
