7. Triple H
Do you know who I hate most in the workplace? The guy that has it good with the boss daughter, and so they constantly get promoted whilst everybody else has to fight against this adversity. Apparently the WWE is like an office, and so everybody in 2000 hated Triple H. The current COO of the WWE at that point was the champion of the McMahon-Helmsley Era, and his position as one of the most despised heels in WWE history was cemented. After originally being the dastardly heel who basically date-raped Stephanie McMahon and married her, Triple H and Stephanie became the WWFs power couple in 2000, taking the championship from the Big Show in January and then proceeding to flaunt their position of power over the superstars and the fans. The most significant part of Triple Hs reign was the retirement of Mick Foley, a beloved ring veteran that was annexed by the nefarious actions of the McMahon-Helmsley stable. Triple H showed a vindictive side which resulted in Jim Ross coining the phrase The Cerebral Assassin which has stuck to this very day. And it was at this time when he and the sledgehammer became better acquainted. Therefore, Triple H followed in Shawn Michaels footsteps by becoming the top heel in the company, and alongside Vince, Shane and Stephanie would continue to enrage the fans and hold a monopoly over the fan favourites like The Rock and Stone Cold. And today, Triple H is a sure-fire hall of famer, and is actually married to Stephanie McMahon in real life and has an important position in the WWE hierarchy. Maybe bad guys do finish first?
