The Elimination Chamber made its return to WWE pay-per-view in February 2008 and the right to challenge for the top prize in the company was at stake as six elite Superstars from the Raw brand battled inside Satan's structure. Even with appearances from Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Umaga and John Bradshaw Layfield, poster boy Jeff Hardy and Triple H were the favorites to emerge from the chamber with the guaranteed title opportunity. After another outstanding exchange between the two Superstars whose feud later in the year would fuel the SmackDown brand, Triple H delivered a Pedigree to a steel chair that ended Hardy's chances at main eventing WrestleMania 24 and propelled The Game into another WWE Championship bout on the grandest stage known to professional wrestling.
