10. Concern Over Finn Balor's Health Is Misplaced

Supposedly, WWE is concerned that current NXT champion Finn Balor may be too banged up when he finally debuts for the main roster. The debacle they experienced with an injury prone Daniel Bryan appears to have them running scared. Balor, as Prince Devitt, wrestled stiff, intense matches in Japan for years before signing with WWE. Apparently he€™s continuing to do so for NXT, both live and on television, and it€™s FREAKING THEM OUT€ which is completely ridiculous. From all reports, Balor is perfectly fine at the moment. If they really want to address these concerns, all they need to do is scale down the work he€™s doing on non-Takeover matches and make plans to call him up ASAP, if that€™s still the plan. Pro wrestling is a work. It€™s not like this is real competition. Just tell him to do less. It gets you thinking, though€ do they really have big plans for the guy? I€™m as big a fan of Fergal Devitt€™s work as anyone, but he€™s thirty-five this summer, and by no means a big guy. NXT bills him at around 190lbs, and everyone knows that the wrestling is a dirty little liar when it comes to height and weight. If WWE genuinely consider Finn Balor to be a contender for their main roster€™s main event, I€™d be amazed. The Demon gimmick is great, but so was the Bray Wyatt gimmick, and he€™s never held or even challenged for the big belt in all of his two and a half years on RAW.
