WWE haven't exactly been tight-lipped about the fate of their newest title on this, a show in which all belts are defended, but c it's odd to see the company not even attempting to create the pretense of an actual match before R-Truth has to run away from 40 lower card guys again.

Considering its popularity following initial fears, the prize has been fazed down the card in recent weeks as a host of new talent feel elevated thanks to evocative angles and matches with stakes, rather than being the first to stop Drake Maverick finally getting his hole. There's something to that - an all-action entertainment show that finds the funny in its over characters doesn't need to script a load of big jokes instead. Apart from on this show.

Of all the nights to give some big names this small honour, it's Clash Of Champions. Trot out legends as if it were a Raw and SmackDown and WCW and NWA "Reunion" so that Hulk Hogan and Edge and Sting and Ricky Steamboat can all have a bash with it before Stone Cold Steve Austin drops 'The Dragon' with a Stunner and dares Truth and Maverick to come to Raw to try and reclaim it.
