Sasha Banks post-SummerSlam 2019 return was the type of comeback WWE have botched so often in recent years that it started to feel like a lost art.

In 'The Boss', they had a bona fide surprise up their sleeve. In her unannounced return, they had a powerful new contender the women's division desperately craved. In her heel turn, they had what could prove to be the missing piece in the "Becky Lynch: Raw Women's Champion" puzzle. Ironically, in completing it, they also bring the game to an end.

Lynch's run has been powerful not particularly for the work or matches within it but for what the reign itself has represented. It has been defended on main events as a big title should be, it has featured on magazine covers and posters because its holder became the biggest star in the company just to get a shot at it. The very match where it changed hands was legitimate history in the making, being made by somebody that was both overnight sensation and 15-year pro.

The end of the beginning of this entry is Sasha's return serving as the beginning of the end of Becky's reign. These two have more matches in them, but Banks' comeback is only effectively completed with this shocking success.

Winner - Sasha Banks
