Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss contested an underrated gem at July's Great Balls Of Fire pay-per-view, with rumoured real-life tensions between the two keeping slower portions buoyant and the overall freshness of their pairing crafting an unusual air of unpredictablity.

Looking to be one-and-done before Bayley's injury at the hands of Nia Jax, the two were kept largely apart presumably to move Sasha into a feud with her best friend as a heel. SummerSlam's Brooklyn locale holds bucketloads of history between the pair, and seemed an ideal place to kick off their anticipated feud that probably should have been have been orchestrated to end here instead.

It's fruitless to lament the endless errors WWE have made with the Raw Women's division, but also unfairly robs Alexa Bliss of credit for her excellent run with the title. Expect that to continue here, especially if they can deliver a match as good as their July effort. With Bayley still shelved and Nia Jax awaiting the winner, 'Little Miss Bliss' will retain here if only to justify one more go around with 'The Boss' next month.

Jax will interject here in fact, triggering botched interference from the injured 'Hugger' that ultimately seals her friend's fate. With seeds sown in future Bliss/Jax and Bayley/Banks rivalries, the league may finally find the 2016 traction its desperately lost this year.
