12 HUGE WWE TLC 2018: Tables, Ladders & Chairs Predictions You Need To Know

9. Rey Mysterio Vs. Randy Orton (Chairs Match)

Asuka Womens Title
WWE

It didn't seem possible that a Rey Mysterio/Randy Orton contest could have life 12 long years after 'The Apex Predator' condemned Eddie Guerrero to hell, but the sickening new slant Orton's added to his act goes beyond that pantomime villainy.

The man has stretched Jeff Hardy's ears, Tye Dillinger's fingers and the nerves of a terrified techie since embracing everything about himself people already despised. In opposition this month stands an evergreen babyface for all times.

Protected by masks and stem cells alike, Rey Mysterio is an ageless hero that could believably stand up to such evil, yet equally stumble into an horrendous humbling. Orton's had an incredible 2018, particularly considering how willing he seemed to be to phone the rest of his career in after the ludicrous programmes with Bray Wyatt and Jinder Mahal concluded in 2017.

Rey offers Randy some more evil catnip ahead of what should be a strong Royal Rumble win. But just how low with a steel chair will the 'Apex Predator' go?

Winner - Randy Orton
