A wonderful shot that encapsulated the unlikely reunion of two icons, this image capturing Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart after their respective matches at WrestleMania 26 stood alongside their historic hug on the January 4th 2010 edition of Monday Night Raw as something longtime fans had been desperate to see.

It mattered not that they found themselves on opposite ends of the sports entertainment spectrum that evening, with Shawn's incredible Undertaker match signposting a grandiose retirement whilst Bret got sucked into an over-indulgent beating of Vince McMahon in a disjointed midcard cluster.

It was just vindicating to see that two of the greatest of all time were able to share a smile and a joke together, evidencing how time had healed the numerous wounds that had cut deep from their poisonous professional relationship for over a decade.

It'll forever be a shame they couldn't summon similar compromise for their own WrestleMania match.
