As WrestleMania 27's token celebrity, Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi was a stranger in a strange land, but had her share of experience of showbiz chaos thanks to a strong presence on the wildly popular 'Jersey Shore'.

Admitting to allegedly be a wrestling fan at the time, Snooki was an enjoyable guest star in the broadcast, teaming with Trish Stratus and John Morrison to defeat the team of Lay-Cool and Dolph Ziggler. She even performed a perfectly serviceable handspring butt-thump and less impressive moonsault splash for the crowd-pleasing victory.

This image of her with bonkers Hall of Famer The Iron Shiek hilariously illustrates the multimedia circus WrestleMania has truly become.

A zeitgeist television star next to arguably the most fortuitous transitional champion in the history of the industry, with both probably not being sure quite what to make of the other.

The 'Showcase of the Immortals' indeed.
