12 MMA Fighters Who Could Save WWE

11. Choi €˜Techno Goliath€™ Hong-Man

A 7 foot 2 inch tall kickboxer should be a no-brainer for WWE, should the Korean giant Choi Hong-Man ever choose to try out as a professional wrestler. The super heavyweight hasn€™t got the world€™s most stellar MMA record since his debut on New Year€™s Eve 2006, at 2-3 €“ he fares better in the kickboxing arena, at 12-6. Can he talk? Probably not in English, but then neither could Dalip €˜Great Khali€™ Singh Rana €“ and Choi Hong-Man can both move and fight, unlike the so-called €˜Punjabi Nightmare€™. At least, he could a few years ago€ there€™s no word on the man€™s current condition, and gigantism is a condition that will worsen and cause secondary health issues unless treated with transsphenoidal surgery (undertaken by Paul €˜Big Show€™ Wight, for example, when he was still a young man). Choi Hong-Man had surgery on a brain tumour back in 2008, but this was one affecting the vision in one eye. Since then, the €˜Techno Goliath€™ (so called because, back when he was a ssireum wrestler €“ a Korean equivalent to sumo €“ he would dance to techno music after a victory) has spent the last five years or so out of competitive fighting, concentrating instead on carving out a career on television. Given the WWE€™s obsession with size, and especially pituitary giants, there€™s no reason on earth why that television career couldn€™t continue in the United States as a professional wrestler€ provided he€™s healthy enough to work.
