12 MMA Fighters Who Could Save WWE

6. Stefan Struve

Although not a sufferer of gigantism (hey, not every big guy has a hormone problem), the 6 foot 11 inch/7 foot tall Struve (opinions vary as to exactly how tall the lanky Dutch kid actually is) is a proper talent in the Octagon, holding a 25-7 record in MMA since his first knockout win with a head kick at the tender age of 16. In fact, by the age of 20 years old he€™d amassed a 16-2 record for Some eleven years later however, the heavyweight has yet to win a title in the UFC, despite his size and ability, with some saying that he just doesn€™t have what it takes to run with the men at the top of the division. Added to that, Struve was diagnosed with a significant heart condition in August 2013. While from all reports he now has it under control, that has to affect his longevity in the sport. Apart from anything else, it could affect whether he can get a license to even compete: and he€™s only just turned 27. Like most Dutch people, the Skyscraper speaks better English than a lot of Englishmen, just with a trace of an accent €“ he€™s also confident, articulate and gregarious. Provided he displayed a reasonable aptitude for pro wrestling (and maybe put on a little additional muscle to fill out that lanky frame), Struve could potentially fill the huge angry hard man role that WWE loves so much: a reasonable kayfabe match for a babyface Brock Lesnar, John Cena or Undertaker at Wrestlemania, for example.
