12 Modern WWE Monsters That Didn't Succeed

7. Dan Rodimer

You may be thinking, "Who?" Rodimer took part in the ill-fated fourth edition of Tough Enough, and actually had a greater career upside than eventual star contestants The Miz and Ryback. At 6'7 and close to 300 lbs, Rodimer looked like JJ Watt with a permanent smirk. Believe it or not, Rodimer wrestled WWE Champion John Cena at a house show on June 17, 2007, with Randy Orton in his corner. At one point, Rodimer (who wrestled as Dan Rodman) figured big into company plans, and was penciled in as a bodyguard figure for Orton and Edge in early 2007. Despite lofty hopes, Rodimer negotiated a release from the company in August 2007, leaving the business entirely at the age of 29. Two months earlier, he was working with the WWE Champion.
