9. Ricky Steamboat - WrestleMania 25
When Chris Jericho challenged three legends to a match at WrestleMania after Mickey Rourke backed out, in an effort to promote the movie The Wrestler, everybody expected the match to be a squash. Roddy Piper, Jimmy Snuka, and Ricky Steamboat were great wrestlers back in their day, but they were far from the primes of their careers. Sure enough, Jericho made quick work of Snuka and Piper before focusing his attention on Steamboat. What happened next was one of the most pleasant surprises of the year. Steamboat had barely missed a step, doing many of the moves he was known for: armdrags and crossbodies. He even had Jericho pinned for a couple of false finishes. In what was supposed to be a throwaway match leading up to the payoff of Mickey Rourke knocking out Jericho, the fans were treated to a showcase from a legend who hadnt wrestled full-time since 1992.
