12 Most Notoriously Selfish Stars In WWE History

4. Triple H

When discussing selfish workers, it would be a travesty to ignore the less-than-fondly remembered "reign of terror" Triple H embarked upon in the early 2000s where he seemingly made the entire WWE roster his b*tch. Raw was so Hunter-centric that it easily could have been renamed in his honor. Goldberg, RVD, Kane, Randy Orton, and Booker T were all victims of Hunter's ego in some form or another. Ahh yes, Booker T. To this day, Triple H vs. the former WCW standout is still one of the most rage-inducing results in WrestleMania history among smart fans. Booker was riding a wave of momentum and there's no sensible reason why he needed to lose their encounter at Mania 19 other than to "keep Hunter strong." Other times he should have laid down at the big event were vs. Orton at XXV and Lesnar at XXIX, not to mention the ridiculous way his feud with Jericho was booked for X8. To his credit, he's spent the last few years trying to make up for a lot of that by putting guys over, and prior to his win over Sting at 31 (another questionable decision), he hadn't won a match in over a year. But the damage he did during his streak of self-serving world domination will never be forgotten. And let's not forget that this is a guy who claims no one ever laid down for him to make him a star.
