12 Most Notoriously Selfish Stars In WWE History

8. CM Punk

The most controversial wrestling personality of this decade is still polarizing to wrestling fans more than a year after he walked away from the business. CM Punk's UFC career has yet to begin other than a few interviews and training session pictures, but the internet is constantly keeping his name alive - even more so now that his wife, AJ Lee has followed his lead by leaving the WWE. Punk's rabid fan base will bemoan his spot on this list, while his many detractors will call him out for his self-centered attitude. Was he selfish in the ring? Not usually, as Punk came out on the losing end of several feuds that logic and business sense would dictate he should have gone over in. But outside the squared circle, a five-minute conversation with The Straight Edge Superstar is enough to convince anyone what an arrogant egomaniac he is. One of his entire points of contention in quitting WWE was that he never got to main event a WrestleMania. While it's understandable how difficult that must for a goal-oriented person, there's thousands of guys who never got that spot either and were content with their careers. CM Punk is the textbook definition of a narcissist prone to hissy fits when things don't go his way.
