7. Crash Holly Wins European Title - Sheffield, England (2000)

D Generation X Shawn Michaels European Title

Crash Holly is better known as the much-maligned cousin of Hardcore Holly and a multi-, multi-time Hardcore Champion himself.

But Crash Holly, European Champion? It happened, and it happened in England.

From 1999-2002, WWF/E held UK-exclusive PPVs dubbed Rebellion. At the 2000 edition of the event, Crash challenged William Regal for the European Championship… and won the title. This was notable because it was Crash’s most significant singles title in WWE, and it was the only title that changed hands at any of the Rebellion PPVs.

But fear not, Regal fans, the current NXT commissioner regained his European title two days later… in New Jersey.
