At least one WWF/E title has changed hands “Down Under,” and it hot-shotted right back to its original owner before the tour could leave the country.

Fabulous Moolah was in her second reigns as WWF Women’s Champion – albeit a much, much shorter reign than the 10,000-plus days she held the title from the 50s into the 80s. During a tour of Australia, Velvet McIntyre defeated Moolah in Brisbane for the title, then lost it back to the Fabulous One six days later in Sydney.

It was essentially a house show title switch to give a little oomph to the tour, but it still was notable for happening in Australia and involving a legendary figure like Moolah.
