9. All Bookers See Themselves As A Particular Wrestler
One of the most interesting insights made by Raven is his theory that all bookers see their company through the eyes of a particular gimmick on their roster. He explains that he and Heyman were able to work so well together, because Paul happened to identify with the nature of Raven's character more than any other in ECW. He also claims that Vince McMahon saw himself as Ted DiBiase (the original, of course), while Eric Bischoff is perhaps the most obvious example of all. He stuck to Hulk Hogan's 'Hollywood' heel persona closely throughout their time in WCW, even booking himself as a member of the nWo. Their alliance would rear its head again over a decade later, severely damaging TNA in the process.
