12 Questions For Shawn Daivari

4. Hell In A Cell

AS: WWE is running three Hell in a Cell matches on the same night. Do you think they're overdoing it?

SD: I'm a big fan of trying new things and seeing if it works. If it doesn't work there's no fault doing it once. If something doesn't work and you do with two, three, four times your f*****g idiot.

I remember I used to argue with people about the Lockdown thing, and they complained that you have all these matches inside of the cage, and I say historically it was the company's best show.

AS: Yeah people gave Dusty Rhodes a lot of s**t for coming up with the concept over the years.

SD: When I was there we did three of them, and every one did better than the last. I was told right before I started it was Kurt and Joe in a cage, and I remember at that time everyone was celebrating that their last pay-per-view was the biggest one they had ever done

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
