Aside from working harder, the wrestlers in DX were just plain better workers. The nWo had some accomplished workers in Curt Hennig, Randy Savage, Konnan and Sting (in the Wolfpac version), but the very best workers were years past their prime. When DX first started, its leader was one of the greatest wrestlers of all time in Shawn Michaels. Triple H was no slouch himself, and by the time he took over the group in 1998 it could be argued he was one of the top five wrestlers in the company. X-Pac was a tremendous worker before his series of neck injuries, but even in 1998 he was bumping like crazy and putting on great matches. And what the New Age Outlaws lacked in in-ring skills, they made up for in undeniable charisma.
