12 Secret FCW Histories Of WWE Superstars

3. Sad Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin
WWE

Baron Corbin has admitted knowing little-to-nothing about pro wrestling before giving it a shot after his football career no longer had legs, and went into humourous detail about his exasperating experience just trying to get a name.

He discussed the infuriating process of having "about 30" potential handles knocked back before "Colten Corbin" and "Baron Corbin" were offered along with another he couldn't recall. Footage later showed him workshopping what appeared to be an emo gimmick that never made it beyond promo class.

As squash match star, angry greaser, infuriating authority figure and now King, Corbin's not been afraid to try something new in an effort to get and stay over and this unconvincing presentation was a noble non-starter.
