2. Going With Solo Sikoa As The New Head Of The Bloodline

The shocking booting out of Jimmy Uso from The Bloodline on the SmackDown after WrestleMania 40 kicked off a fresh new chapter in a saga that was in need of a change.

Not only did this hot angle mark the beginning of a new version of the dominant faction, it also saw Solo Sikoa finally step into the role of leader in the absence of his 'Tribal Chief'.

Initially, it felt like a bold but right call, with Sikoa's savage beatdown of Jimmy alongside Tama Tonga - combined with the visual of a panicked Paul Heyman losing his mind - very much convincing fans that no one would be safe on the blue show with Solo leading the heel squad.

With each passing week, though, a secret truth has started to reveal itself: Solo probably isn't him.

No matter how much Heyman puts over the threat of this new version of The Bloodline, or how many "dangerous" members are added to their ranks, there's no way of fully disguising the fact that the blonde-haired brawler just doesn't currently exude threatening, top boss energy.

His monotonously delivered threats on the mic and backstage rarely send shivers up your spine. Watching him strut out with his heavies in his cheap suits feels more silly than intimidating. And it's mostly 'The Wise Man's melodramatic reactions to his attempts to take over The Bloodline which are keeping folks engaged in the story at time of writing.

WWE had to pull the trigger on Solo as a central figure at some point. And while there's obviously still time for the star to grow into the role and develop into a genuinely menacing leader before Roman and Rock inevitably return, things just haven't really clicked for him so far.
