8. Kane’s Fancy Ring Exit

OK, so The Undertaker did this a bit too, especially when teaming with his kayfabe sibling as The Brothers Of Destrucity. Or Destruction. One of the two anyway. In that sense, it isn't completely unique to Kane, but it's the 'Big Red Machine' that fans link to that backflip ring exit most of all.

This huge man would cradle both of his arms over the top rope, fall backwards and gracefully spill out of the ring to the mats in one movement. Kane did this a ton during his initial masked run, and it's right up there with his cocked head ("dog") mannerism as one of the most identifiably bespoke traits of the character.

Again, 'Taker did this a few times himself, but nowhere near as much as Kane did. Therefore, it's roundly considered to be his storyline brother's thing first and foremost. Further, it must be said that it's remarkably difficult to find a good quality image of Kane doing this, so you'll actually see The Rock clotheslining/punching him out of the ring above instead.

Apologies, but the actual movement was pretty much identical.

Kane's agility became one of his best features once he was allowed to mix things up a little and dispense with the same slow, zombie-like movements that had held Undertaker back during his debut years too. The masked menace would fly off the top rope, move with speed and exit the ring like he was short on time. It's something a lot of fans came to know and love about the guy.
