12 Superstars And Divas WWE Creative Have Completely Abandoned

8. Damien Sandow

At one point, WWE Creative clearly believed that Damein Sandow had the potential to be a World Heavyweight Champion. He was, after all, a Money in the Bank winner, but that opportunity was squandered in an A+ effort which predictably saw him fall to John Cena (Sandow winning and dropping the belt at the next PPV would have done him wonders, but as we all know too well, Cena must never look weak). When his Intellectual Saviour of the Masses gimmick had run its course, Sandow found unexpected success as Mizdow, gaining a surprisingly high level of support which, infuriatingly, came to nothing. Mizdow had his moment at WrestleMania when he eliminated The Miz from the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but rather than taking advantage of his newfound popularity by having him win that match, the victory was instead handed to The Big Show, a Superstar it's done literally nothing for since. Still, it at least looked like an entertaining feud between The Miz and Mizdow might be on the cards, but WWE Creative dropped that after a couple of half-hearted Raw matches, and Sandow was soon back to being a cringeworthy comedy act, this time imitating Randy Savage. The Hulk Hogan scandal thankfully killed that off, but the Superstar who was at one point a heel with a ton of heat and then a face with huge support has faded into the background and probably isn't far off getting Future Endeavoured. What a waste.
