12 Things Every WWE Fan Must Do Before They Die

4. Witness The Royal Rumble

I mentioned matches with a special stipulation, but the Royal Rumble stands out from those as being in a class of its own. The last couple of Rumbles have been surrounded in controversy, but as someone who was fortunate (unfortunate?) to be there When Batista won in 2014, I promise you that it's still worth it. You don't need me to talk you through how exciting this yearly match is, but there's definitely something different about actually being there, counting down with the crowd when each new entrant gets set to make their way to the ring and having your mind blown when someone makes a surprise return (unless, you know, it's someone who you know has only come back to win...here's hoping John Cena's return after his scheduled time off this winter isn't going to coincide with this event). Sure, the Royal Rumble had disappointed us all for a while now and there's no denying the fact that it's not the most technical and well wrestled match (seeing your favourite WWE Superstar lying in the corner to kill time until it's their turn to do something isn't massively enjoyable), but the Royal Rumble is part of WWE history, and that alone should make it a priority for any fan to see in person at least once.

Josh Wilding hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
