12 Things We Just Learned About Brock Lesnar's UFC Fight From Paul Heyman
6. Can Brock Hold The UFC And WWE Titles If He Continues With UFC Simultaneously?
A pretty pertinent question to say the least, though it assumes that Vince McMahon's idea of a "one-off" is either entirely different to Brock Lesnar's, or it isn't a fair reflection of the deal that was cut behind that door.
Heyman wouldn't be drawn on his client's desire to further himself in UFC beyond the July 9th event though, beyond stating that he knows his desire to compete is driven by his being a born competitor.
"But once July 9th is over, I make no predictions whether this will be a one and done, and then it's on to August 21st and SummerSlam and continue to go on with his career in WWE, or whether he will continue to fight in UFC while performing in WWE. He's not giving up WWE to do this."
The lack of a concrete affirmation in that respect is telling. But what about duelling the belts?
"Could he hold the UFC world heavyweight championship and the WWE world heavyweight championship? If Brock Lesnar decides to continue fighting in UFC... Absolutely he can. And he is the only being on the face of the planet that could possibly even consider making that accomplishment happen."
